Gen Zs would rather shop online than face the maze-like challenge of IKEA in-person.

Insight

Gen Zs often cope with challenges by turning them into games.

Idea

By turning Ikea into a treasure hunt game, it enters the gamification space for Genz.

The main challenge of the brief was to get GenZ into the store rather than making a purchase online. So we decided to turn IKEA into a treasure-hunt game by hiding NFC cards throughout the store and have Gen Zs find them by solving riddles from the IKEA app.
